It is that time of the year again when Residents of Eldorado Park can pack their picnic baskets for a day in the sun at the annual Eldos Arts & Jazz Festival 2015 ‘Live’ Music Concert. The concert will take place on Sunday 27 September 2015, at The Extension 6 Soccer Grounds in Eldorado Park.The gates will open at 10h00 and ‘live ‘ entertainment will commence from 12:00 pm to 18:00 pm. 

The concert forms part of a host of other Arts Alive events happening throughout the month of September. This year, being the 10th anniversary of the festival, will be an absolute blast for residents of Eldorado Park and neighboring townships in Johannesburg. The ‘live’concert promises to be entertaining for both the old and the young alike and, boasts an impressive line-up. 

The main featured artist, Dr Victor, has been creating an uplifting, up tempo sound that has earned this singer, musician, songwriter and producer an enviable reputation on the South African music scene and many devoted fans all over the world for more than 15 years. The supporting act, Bianca Le Grange and Vincent Bones, South African Idols 2014 winner, whose fresh and vibrant performances include local dance groups, is sure to keep heads bopping and feet tapping. Opening acts 5th Connection is a local band of highly skilled musicians, and Robert Zimba, a recording Afro Jazz Artist, will set the tone right from the start of the programme. 

As part of the anniversary celebration, we have invited a number of DJs to get the entire crowd on their feet, while they play their favourite R&B, House and Hip Hop selections. Watch out for favourate DJs ERA, Cheezo, Jowen and Levi. We end off the concert with the famous ‘ Twins on Decks ‘. Don’t miss out on this auspicious event. 

The festival which takes place in Heritage month, and in the heart of spring, also allows for residents of Eldorado Park and surrounding areas to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Eldos Arts & Jazz Festival in style.

Numerous food vendors as well as a Mac Donalds Take Aways and free Fun Park will be available throughout the day. Visit the Coca Cola Food Court and SAB Beer Garden brought to the festival for your enjoyment. Children can also enjoy themselves on the Sky Rink that will be specially brought into the festival as part of the birthday celebrations. The festival also seeks to address socio economic issues in Eldorado Park and surrounding areas and to promote nation building and reflect cultural diversity.
