The African Musicians Trust
The Trust was founded by Glenn and Michelle Robertson, Roslyn Dantu, and Petro Schoeman.
The African Musicians Trust exists to engage, equip, support, guide and educate South African Musicians and offer services to them to empower their careers through providing a platform for marketing, public relations, events management, training and networking. We also want to provide a Medical Aid and a Provident Fund for musicians to enable them, in their latter years, to live with dignity.
The following people were asked to attend and become an integral part of The African Musicians Trust : Zayn Adam , Eric Alan , Ric Amansure , Basil Jr Coetzee , Tyrone Da Silva (DJ Eazy) , Sibongiseni Dakela , Roslyn Dantu , Jose Delgado , Tony Drake , Louis Emmanuel , Allan Hamman, Ethel Hamman, Sylvana LeFleur , Luba Mayekiso , Clive Newman , Fayruze Noor , Frank Paco, Donveno Prins , Athol Rhoda , Michelle Robertson , Petro Schoeman , Unati Tunzelana , Valdi Van Reenen-le Roux , Sammy Webber , Brandon Wynne
Kaleidoscope is a ministry which was started under the leadership of Glenn and Michelle Robertson. Kaleidoscope is a community where the environment is warm and friendly. It is a place where real friendships can be built and hopefully sustained. Every Friday we host Music, Arts and Culture evenings where people who have a love for the creative in all its forms can mingle with ease. It’s a space to enjoy music (etc), where young and old alike can meet. Most importantly we want it to be a space where those who truly love this City of Cape Town can come to celebrate all of her beauty of diversity.
Music Exchange promoters had this to include “We welcome any efforts to drive empowerment of people in the South African music business, and are very excited to have both the African Musicians Trust as well as Kaleidoscope on board”.
