The Visual Arts Division at DALRO is proud to announce that it has entered into a bilateral agreement with Pictoright, a visual arts organisation based in the Netherlands. This agreement means that DALRO and Pictoright can now reciprocally collect and distribute royalties on behalf of visual artist from these countries.
Pictoright currently administers copyright on behalf of 2000 visual artists based in the Netherlands. Their repertoire includes works of artists such as reknowed painter, sculptor, and poet, Karel Appel, visual artist and teacher, Loes de Haan, portraitist and illustrator, Gerda van Gijzel and Willemien Mostert.
DALRO has over the years developed solid relationships and bilateral agreements with a significant number of collecting societies globally. Agreements such as these make our licensing processes even more effective and we’re looking forward to working with Pictoright.
